Made Cooking Class is located in Pejeng Kangin Village, a peaceful area just about 20 minutes from the center of Ubud.
The village is well known for its cultural heritage and ancient temples. Nearby is Pura Penataran Sasih, home to the famous Bronze Moon of Pejeng (Bulan Pejeng), one of Bali's most important archaeological treasures. Pura Pusering Jagat, an important Hindu temple, is also located in the area.
Just a short distance away, the traditional Pejeng Market offers a chance to see local daily life, with fresh produce, spices, flowers, and other goods sold by local vendors.
Pejeng is also known for “Siat Sampian”, a unique Balinese temple tradition that symbolizes cooperation and community spirit.
Surrounded by rice fields, temples, and village life, Pejeng offers a quiet and authentic setting where visitors can experience a different side of Bali beyond the busy tourist areas.
